About Draftly

Draftly is a free Google Docs add-on designed to help writers monitor manuscript progress, organize chapters and sections, and track writing goals.

Draftly is an independent project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google LLC.

Use of the Service

You may use Draftly only in accordance with Google’s Terms of Service and applicable laws.

You are responsible for the documents you create and manage using the add-on.

Data and Privacy

Draftly does not collect, store, sell, or share the content of your manuscripts.

The add-on only accesses the currently opened Google Document to calculate writing statistics and display progress.

User preferences such as writing goals and language settings are stored using Google’s User Properties service.

Availability

Draftly is provided free of charge and on an “as is” basis.

While every effort is made to keep the add-on available and functioning correctly, uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.

Limitation of Liability

Draftly is provided without warranties of any kind.

The developer is not responsible for any loss of data, interruption of service, or damages resulting from the use of the application.

Users are responsible for maintaining backups of their own documents.

Changes

These Terms may be updated from time to time.

Continued use of Draftly after changes have been published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
